What is baker gordon syndrome?

Baker Gordon Syndrome, also known as Diastasis Recti Abdominis or Abdominal Separation, is a medical condition that occurs when the abdominal muscles become stretched and separated, causing a bulging of the belly or an unusual protrusion of the abdominal wall. This condition is commonly found in pregnant women, obese individuals, or those who have experienced rapid weight gain or loss. It can also be caused by excessive weight lifting, chronic coughing, or poor posture. Symptoms of Baker Gordon Syndrome may include lower back pain, poor posture, constipation, and difficulty breathing. Treatment options include physical therapy, exercise, and corrective surgery.
